High praise for Yundi's Palermo performance
As Yundi's international tour nears its end, critics continue to sing their praise for the Chinese pianist. Said Palermo 24h of Yundi's May 7 performance in the Sicilian capital, "Yundi not only revives the feelings of the composers who were the fathers of those notes and melodies. He opens us up to his own emotional world, translating it into music and connecting with anyone in the same room as him." The Italian publication went on to call Yundi "an impressive talent" who "performed with composure and unique control." Read the full review here. After previous stops in Strasbourg, Leipzig, and Essen, Yundi's tour wraps up with performances in Ravello on May 11 and Berlin on May 14. Click here for more tour information.

World tour continues with concerts in Paris, London, Moscow, and more
Yundi's world tour continued this past week in Rotterdam, Moscow, Liverpool, London, Paris, and Munich, earning critical acclaim along the way. "Yundi maintained a cleanly assured line throughout all three [Beethoven] sonatas," writes The Independent of his April 18 recital at London's Royal Festival Hall, performing "with brilliant passage-work and bags of power when it was needed. The thunderous first movement of the Appassionata was finely controlled, the Adagio of the Pathétique sang, there was a bloom on his sound in the Allegretto of the Moonlight, and the finale of that sonata was delivered with electrifying force." Make sure to catch Yundi on his world tour. Explore his dates here.
